The Tabard Election

Fayan - Shall we begin? Good... After analysing the patterns, colours, combinations and such forth for the candidate tabards I and the other members of the board have decided that it would indeed be in our best interests to move forth and put out a positive supportive campaign in favour of the tabard selection option, codename Tabard 1. Numerous feedback from the general public at large has officially stated in this financial quarter that the visual representation and personification of the guild's primary attributes and goals will be most definately set forth and advertised in the selection of this particular tabard.

Cornelium - If I may, Fayan?

Fayan - But of course.

Cornelium - One point I would like to remind the members of the comitee on is also previous scientific studies have proven that things which are red in colour are generally fire resistant, thus assisting the guild in its political, military, and material objectives with Blackwing Lair and indeed, Molten Core.

Fayan - Absolutely.

Cornelium - And without a shadow of a doubt we should be moving our production base toward a more hostile tanget on these two particular marketing fields. I feel that the product designated Tabard 1 will bring about greater yields of effective, post-Molten equipment, allowing us to withstand the current destabilising experience rocking the raiding communities since the collapse of the economy and the bankrupcy of the gold coin on the Alliance side.

Fayan - And erm... what was that negative output performance review on the competative tabard scheme, designated Tabard 2?

Sirque - Ah yes, I have the documentation faxed from HQ on the performance review of Tabard 2 here somewhere.... ah, here we are. Yes, indeed the test results from the research and development wing are slightly dubious about the qualities of the competative design for a fair few reasons. Firstly is the fabric itself, which contains asbestos, wire-wool, and numerous sexually transmited diseases including ghoul rot. Secondly, we were suprised to find they were, contrary to the label, made in China by orphans.

Cornelium - Orphans?

Sirque - That's what the documentation says. Apparently the children are also certified orphans because they killed their own parents to get the job. Another point worth making is the tabards, though black, cause great offence to the African-market, who find the colour symbolic to opression, slavery, and coffee. It is quite sadly a potential law suit on our hands. Erm... one interesting fact here is that the after effects of this trial exposure to the product designated Tabard 2 include increased Trallo nudity, and something about fire resistance equipment deteriorating to a near-enough bikini-like state.

Fayan - Without doubt I was a victim of this problematic occurance appearing frequently within the confines of the aforementioned Blackwing Lair, as we covered last night in File 209, was it?

Cornelium - 208 according to the logs printed out this morning by administration.

Fayan - Needless to say then that as members of the comittee assigned for data collection and tabard safety I am personally inclined to lead unbiasly toward the approval and immediate distribution of the product designated Tabard 1 for deployment as a heraldry vestment.

Cornelium - I too agree. The sooner we accept the contract with the manufactuerer and have the items constructed to meet the bulk demands of the March rush, the sooner we can move onto the more serious issue of the redevelopment of the guild command hierarchy to accept a more communism-based approach.

Sirque - Absolutely. I for one am one hundred percent behind the decision I, and the board as a whole have made in unison to see the adoption of this prototype Tabard 1 into a full-blown assembly line.
